Each base has been designed for specific types of applications whether it is for short-term or long-term use. Depending on the size of the flag, for most occasions you can opt for a cross-base, providing it is for indoor display. For more stable-looking outdoor displays, we recommend upgrading to our heavy-duty water-based options.

  Cross Base

  Cross bases offer a low-cost and convenient solution for any indoor soft or hard ground display. The base takes up minimal floor space and it will not detract attention away from the advertisement on the flag. The simple design of the cross base means it's lightweight and can be collapsed, making it practical to deploy, store, and transport. Suitable for all flag shapes but recommended for flags no taller than 3.2m tall.

  Ground Spike

  Ground spikes offer a durable solution that will anchor your display securely in place, making it the perfect choice for use in fields and soft ground. The base is manufactured from chrome-finished steel, meaning it won't rust and will stand firm in strong winds even on uneven ground. Please note the ground spike is not suitable for loose soil or wood chips and the ground must be flattened. Not recommended for large or extra-large poles.

  Double Ground Spike

  Double ground spikes offer the ultimate solution for larger and heavier poles. It is perfect for driving into compact terrains and ideal for any outdoor soft ground display. The sturdy chrome steel design means it is rust-proof and built to last. The stake is placed into the ground, creating a stronger foundation to hold the flag. The sharp pointed end makes it easier to hammer into the ground, therefore creating a simple, yet practical display. Additionally, the flagpole securing spindle is moulded to the ground spike with 360-degree rotation, thus enabling the flag to be viewed from all directions. Since it is driven into the ground, the immediate perimeters are clear of trip hazards or visually obstructive weighting rings, making it ideal for high-traffic areas. Please note the double ground spike is not suitable for loose soil or wood chips and the ground must be flattened. Suitable for all flag shapes and sizes up to 5m tall and can withstand wind speeds of up to 18mph.

  The drive-on-foot base is perfect for use in forecourts, car showrooms, or outdoor events. The foot is manufactured from heavy-duty galvanised steel and built to last. It works by driving a vehicle onto the foot, ensuring it is on firm and level ground, and the vehicle will act as a counterweight to the flag and pole. With the extra weight of a vehicle, the drive-on-foot base is suitable for indoor and outdoor use with any height flag pole and is supplied complete with a rotating spigot.

  Water Filled

  Water filled bases are recommended where transport and carrying weights are a constraint. The base is moulded from durable polyethylene making it easy to carry to your desired location. Suitable for indoor or outdoor flat surface display and is available in 15L, 20L, and 30L capacities. The water-fill base is suitable for all flag shapes and sizes up to 5m tall.
